Hi guys...
Listen i have problem since ive connected my modem through the ethernet cable...When i restart my pc i always have to turn off the power of the modem because otherwise when i try to connected it shows me message Dialing the connection and it stays like that for about 10s until show me error message...And when i turn off the power and turn on again the modem it works fine...
I was just wondering if there is any solution for this and is someone experiencing the same problem?!
Thanks a lot!

What Operating System? Do you have auto-dial enabled?

I have Win`XP SP2 and no i dont have auto dial enabled...

Ok, how did you setup the connection in XP?

There is also the possibility that the 10s delay is your base-station trying to concentrate its carrier-wave in your modem's direction [or some story that I vaguely remember Luis @ WBS telling me months ago].

Since I switched to using SmoothWall to manage my iBurst UTD connection, I have had virtually no problems, in fact no problems that actually required any human intervention - SWE2 has handled everything perfectly [so far] on its own. Much better than the iBurst s/w installed into W2KP which kept bombing out all the time.
