iBurst Modems - second hand pricing?

I'm looking at purchasing an iBurst modem (cash) and trying out iGo for 2 months. If I don't like it, or it doesn't work or whatever - how much can I sell the modem for?

I *think* one shop which is selling the iBurst desktop unit for R1600 cash - and if I take advantage of this, will I get my money back easily in 2 months? Do people actually BUY these modems? I don't want me stuck with this like my other stuff I can't sell ;)
 
Not sure, I hav'nt seen many of the Iburst modems for sale. I bought one for R1500, desktop. So you probably not gonna get your money back if you buy it.
 
Sheesh ... thought they usually sell for R2800? I thought it was a good deal ;) Thanks though

I need an iBurst modem for one month in November when I travel around SA on business...
I wonder if we can work something out.. :) do you still only need one for 2 months?

Well - not after I read the other post saying you need a 24 month contract ;) I thought I could buy the cheap modem, use it for 2 months, and sell it later. However the modem is still pricy unless i take 24 months.

Dolby / Shadley - Any recommendations on where I can look for a desktop modem for around R1500 - R1600 new ? Everyone is just trying to flog it at around R2800

Its called the free market. Demand (for iBurst) is exceeding supply - strangely enough.
 
Yeah dude. I think you just need to post it here and then hopefully someone will contact you.
 
Mine will be available as of the end of the month for R1500 if you are interested.
