iBurst network status page and incident reports

I will add the v2 url (now) to the Problem reports thread & v1 & v2 to the Readme.1st thread.

I want to know - how did everyone find out about v2 - it isn't on the Support menu & there's no link from v1 to v2; also no email about either v1 or v2 from WBS... was it the Helplessnessdesk? - must've been - you poor sad people are still wasting your money calling them right?

It is on the support menu as "Incident Report".

Sorry about that. I saw it there this morning. I know because I added it to my bookmarks. Maybe you were getting a cached page.

Yeah I have to agree - I had been looking all over iburst.co.za & specifically the Support menu & the v1 page to find links to the v2 page, all I got on the Support menu was FAQ, Network Status & Firmware - now (the next day) the v2 link is finally showing. I kept think people must've found out from the Helplessnessdesk...

As a matter of interest are you using straight Mozilla or Mozilla Firefox?

It's the straight Mozilla Suite ver 1.7.5. I've got Firefox on another PC, but I prefer the look and feel of Mozilla, and I haven't found any good reasons to switch over yet.

It would be nice to have the tower latency on the status page, very helpfull when trying to diagnose connection problems.

Quick question, and I know it might be a little daft. But how would you check exactly what tower your on without thumbsucking it? :D

Not daft at all. If anyone knows the answer, share it. Even the helpdesk thumbsuck it. It would be nice to know for sure.

Phone WBS and check with Luis, he will use your UTID to track down which towers you use and which tower you use the most.
