iBurst on mikrotik router

Hi there

I'm currently using the black iburst desktop router (1Mbps) on a mikrotik, connected via ethernet.

All works well, except that I cannot access certain sites such as iburst.co.za (for online account management) or even telkom's customer portal website. My wife cannot retrieve emails on her ipad. Youtube streams fine as well as other websites. I also have decreased the MTU size, but it makes no difference.

However, when I connect the telkom router+sim, everything works beautiful, no issues.

Any suggestions on how I may check where the issue may be?

Will a newer (faster) router be a better option, as this is my work's router and I am looking at cheaper alternatives to 3G.

I have no problems accessing iburst.co.za on a MikroTik RB751U-2HnD running RouterOS 6.33. Max MTU and Max MRU both set to 1392.

I'm not sure what to suggest. Maybe take a backup of your configuration and try a fresh start.

Totally ignored the MRRU, changed both to 1392, seems to be working.

Will leave things and see if working opwration is confirmed.
