Hi

I am trying to get my Ibusrt modem working via a PCMCIA adaptor the work on OSX 10.5.2 Leopard. I use the same setup on my Windows XP and Vista and Now also Windows 7 and it works fine. I downloaded the driver for MAC but it does not see the modem. I installed the driver and also setup up PPP connection but still nothing. I have the very first Modem for laptops, the olg grey one. Still a faithfull Iburst customer since they first launched in SA a few years ago. PLEASE HELP?

i cannot update to any version after that as then it freeze and wont boot again ...

I would format if I were you and try get updated to 10.5.6.

What laptop you using? Wow, I haven't seen those old grey devices in ages! Did they come out in PCMIA Express units as well?

Hi Limnos

I am currently formtting again and not loading any patches to update as it refuses to do so. I forgot to mention that i am running a hackintosh edition of Leopard 10.5.2 and it;s running on my PC via pci converter. Will let you know what i achieved. Also Iburst support says i should try the latest device drivers for that express modem and see what happens.

Cheers

It might have helped to mention this, i am doubting whether you will get this to work properly. I know iburst had specific drivers for specific modems for specific versions of the osx. On a normal machine it works instantly, i would imagine the problem lies directly with the hack u have done

Hi Iburst

I will try that right now and see ....i tried all the vodacom 3g modems and they all work 100% ...will give an update soon

Regards
