Well Iburst have finally done it. Every broadband company offers more bandwidth for less as time goes by but iburst comes along and offers even less bandwidth for a great saving of R1.00 cheaper.

Im sure we all were satisfied with the 1gig cap we had and there after being throttled to 64kbps (for those that were on the giga package).

The area i live in is said to have bare minimum signal for iburst wireless. I didn't care much about the slow speed during my 1gig cap and even slower speed after the cap was used because the 64kbps throttle still allowed me to visit international sites.... until now.

I now should be appreciative of the 1 whole extra gig iburst gives me for a bank breaking saving of R1.00 (1ZAR). Now once my cap is finished so am I... and i get to do all of this with speeds of less than 64kbps anyway.

Nice one Iburst... you have just lost 2 accounts as a start... and btw I have an IT company and used to promote your services.... which will no longer take place

Should anyone be interested in purchasing used iburst wireless desktop modems (in very good condition) please let me know. I have two for a start.... as soon as i move my clients onto new broadband providers more will become available. pm me should you require.

How much?

Well teh whole migration thing seems to be a total stuff up.
I cant get into teh management page to BUY more bandwidth or even see what I have used..

Guess this is what happens when there is totally and utterly no planning done..............

hey guys sorry for the late reply... looking about R1200... payed R2500 for it. Not to keen on keeping with iburst. Found better options with telkoms do broadband.

In all fairness to Iburst... they are trying to make money but this isnt the way to do it. You improve products and drop prices on older products not offer the same thing and charge more.

Dont feel too bad about not accessing that info... i tried as well. I cant even seem to view the coverage maps cos someone called me to buy the modem but needed to know if he was covered by the network.

I already feel bad for that guy.

It's working fine for me at this link but what irks me is that Bandwidth Boosters NOW EXPIRE 30 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE DATE!:mad:

Also, I can't buy these Bandwidth Boosters at the new per-GB-price because the old prices still reflect on the drop-down box of the purchase page! :erm:

iBurst, when will you fix this?

well thats iburst for you. i could access that top up page but it only showed top up for 1 gig

How do companies like this stay in business? Their accounts are screwed up & they have outside companies trying to sort it out for them.
Some people have not had their accounts debited in 3 months. The operators who answer the phones tell you that there is NO WAY of iBurst seeing if people have paid or not. (What I heard on Tuesday). Are they told to say this?

People in Migration don't even answer their phones & when they do the phone just goes dead.

i know the feeling D3x, i have that all the time. Sometimes when they do answer they just put the phone down. Do they think we are deaf and cannot hear them talking in the background before they cut us off.
