Been looking at the Iburst packages for wireless and I just can't understand it there sees to be a big gap.
Wireless 2 2 Gig Data Fee R138 Monthly Subscription R60
Wireless 5 5 Gig Data Fee R295 Monthly Subscription R150
Now firstly this is if you already have the Modem
What I do not understand is the extra R60 subscription they charge you and that increases as up select a bigger package how does that work so if you then upgrade to the Wireless 5 that R60 extra becomes R150 all of a sudden and this I really do not understand because your still using the same modem the same network stil no support and network speeds are still the same only difference is you wanted 5Gig instead of 2 but get charged R90 extra per month.
Then the most hilarious part is if you stay on the Wireless 2 option and just use the top-up feature 5Gig will cost you R405 per month R30 less
So how exactly did Iburst work out there pricing structure I would reckon the more or bigger your contract would be the cheaper it should become because you commit yourself to paying them more per month it seems to me that everyone above the wireless 2 package is completely getting ripped off with ridiculous extra charges if they can argue that your speeds are faster then I can understand an increase in subscription but increasing subscription simply because you going to use 3Gig more per month is a bit silly
Also why is there no Wireless 3 package 3Gig is almost a standard used by every ISP but for some amazing reason iburts don't have a 3Gig option is that because people will pickup on that extra charges that just keeps on increasing so you jump to 5Gig and hope nobody notices that they paying R90 more for a service the same service as the people on wireless 2 so just wondering and info would be appreciated
