Nice sihen but what r the prices gonna be? is it gonna be priced more than sentech or less?
These are the questions ppl need to know before they commit themselves to waiting for a company.
Full commercial rollout is only expected in Q1 2005, still sometime away. Many things could change, considering the recent events with telecoms in SA. I doubt there will be any prices announced soon, but there may be some indication next month.

The telecoms environment is going to change and as such, IBURST have to see what prices their competitors show. Also they can't afford to charge excessive prices as IBURST will lose many consumers.
When they launch reality has to be kept in mind - I think speeds will be 50 - 75% to what ppl got during the pilot stages. It all depends how wide the pipe is that uunet supplies to wbs and the amount of users subscribing. Hope the price will be competitive - if so i'll be standing in line again for my Iburst modem.
aborg yes and no, I believe you should get what you pay for.
If you are paying for a 1mb/s connection you must pull those speeds,
Dont quote me but thats what I believe Iburst is trying to do.
I want a 1mb/s connection ... if it's symmetrical then I can just use my voip and the closest thing that I'll get to telkom is going to be parking next to one of their trucks ...
