TELKOM has messed up my DSL line and my MWEB iBurst is ending end of this month. Is there a way to get iBurst pre-paid painlessly if I have a fully functional modem?

What details can I use to logon to iBurst website and purchase some prepaid b/w?

or do I need to sign up? How quickly can this be achieved?

The best deal for you will be:

1. Sign up for 'Wireless Start' - R49 (Own modem option)
2. Eat as much as you can BW after hour 24h00 - 0800 free of charge (just remember to keep your balance positive else you'll have to top up)

3. Enjoy (2.) until 1/July/2010.

4. After 1/July upware migrate to a package suit you via the web site - no penalty (yap your heard me well, self migration via website will be available via web by 1st of July ;)).

5. Add VAS uncapped any time - Try it, it worth it. Don't like it? cancel it.

You'll find this is by far the best deal in the market.

Just do all of us a favour, check your coverage before you sign up to avoid dissapointment.
No coverage - D O N ' T S I G N !!!!!!!

Cheers.

Hi,

Thanks for that. So WireLess Start? I have the modem and have full coverage. I've got MWEB iBurst till end of this month but after that it's cancelled (this month is notice month). I'm now having DSL line issues and realised that I need a backup solution. SO you say I should sign up for Wireless start at R49pm? I'm afraid of giving my banking details to iBurst though. What do you think?

Yap. I definitely recommend you to sign for Wireless Start.
2 main reasons:
1. Unlimited free internet after hour during this month.
2. Minimize the risk of throwing money at iBurst and experiencing bad service after.

Try the service for one month. Not happy – cancel. (At the worst you lost activation + 1 month = R148)
Happy – upward migrate. Don’t stay with wireless start. You will not enjoy after hour service and the 1GB top up is expensive (R149 as oppose to R39 on the higher packages).

I don’t see any problem with giving your banking details to iBurst.
Should you have any problems, PM me your issues and I’ll try to help.

Faxed form and Id thing.
If you wait couple of weeks the functionality of "Own modem self activation" (for both iDsl and wireless) will be available via iBurst web site.

I don't have a couple of weeks - I just wanted a painless way of getting some prepaid time. Thanks for your help. I'll stick to dialup.
