Go have a looksy on the iburst site theyve got a presubscription banner flying on the top of their main page and you can actually get a look at the butt ugly looking modem they are using.


but its nice and all but how much does it bloody well cost.

One thing I think is that might be a bit misleading is their picture with, what could imply is, that the woman is sitting in the middle of JHB downtown in a new car with a laptop on her lap with the door open in broad daylight .... I'm just not sure if that would really happen ...

lol blob, I don't even carry my laptop around in a laptop carry bag anymore. I carry it in a very plain looking backpack as I often have to leave in the car.

I think the presubscription is mainly for them to get an indication of the initial demand so they can work the numbers and ensure they have enough bandwidth and units. Presubscription doesn't imply that you WILL buy into the service once they launch.
