Is anyone still experiencing problems?

I'm in bez valley at the moment and my international speeds and local are as what they were earlier in december/november when I signed up.

Confirmation?

I'll post as soon as I'm @ home tonight to do some tests on Northcliff
 
I've had 0kb Upload problems twice today - 100% signal strength, Midrand Tower LOS.
 
My signal strength is still fluctuating - it was waaaay better over the weekend, today it has dropped to mostly 1..2 leds.

As for 0 Upload Problem - yes still happening, speed still unacceptable. Have a look @ my test results.
 
it may be shiort lived as in the last 15 days - no serious connection and then on a monday, wow...tuesday......back to usual crap
 
Since I moved the modem to an upstairs/outside wall last week and now have LOS to Sandton, I've had very good reliability and excellent speeds.

I only have two problems:

1) Often I cannot get Google, although other Intl site are woriking fine.

2) Can no longer get my email from Mweb although I'm still a subscriber. It seems to attempt it and then gives a non-specified error. I don't want to have to re-install my ISDN modem...
 
I have been experiencing problems since thursday which sucks because while you guys were complaining about problems I was fine. When I called the support center I was told most of the towers have been sorted/upgraded except for rivonia and kempton which should be done by the middle of the week.
 
I've Got 100% signal, and some good speed.
Could be that bribe I paid to WBS...... :p
 
Getting somewhere today, 250k connection at least .... retest: hops around a bit as well...150k......not so stable

my connection is back, and wow its crazy the signal is 98% solid, frame error is never above 1% and line speed down has been at a cool 1038kbps for the last 4 hours
 
I cant complain about speeds they are back to normal, however I get disconnected ever hour or 2. Its really irritating. not even gonna bother phoning those clowns cause they will just say "the tower is green on our screens"
 
hmm, my connection had held for about 12hrs, hope it stays that way.
 
Cannot get Google. Cannot get Mweb. Yet both are pingable. Cannot collect email. Cannot find a solution.

Otherwise, all is fine.

i can't get to google either since like 5PM this afternoon, oh well
 
No google or mweb sites...
Still have the 0kb problem if the pc is idle...
 
I'm having the same problem Log-on and that's it. Can't get to www.msn.co.za, google and most of the international pages. Well at least I can get to iBurst, but that doesn't help me at all. I did had a proper service and speed between 14H00 and 17H00, but after that the same story. Log-on, open halve of my home page and bang. Refuse to go anywhere. Dead, not even a blink of the lights on the UTC card.

This is now ongoing since 19th of January on the Northcliff tower serving the Northcliff, Greymont and Bergbron area.
