I've had it with IBURST nearly 1 week. It's really ticking me off using my money to call them up.
Instead of contacting ppl by SMS/e-mail telling ppl what the probelm is but seems none of the people at tech-support know jack the telling me it's my MTU SETTINGS ETC or I've to reboot my P.C.. So s***w this im going to reformat P.C same issue.. . I decided why not take walk to WBS office and see what the problem is. Spoke to some big shot there. I find out that they had some technical diffculties about bandwidth issues etc. When I told him the problem he was not so inpressed.

Who ever dam run's IBURST TECHNICAL SUPPORT is a dam stupid guy. Seriously if he doesn't know what's going on and can't tell the staff to tell clients what's going on then I don't know...

I've been calling them every dam day to fix up there stuff but no they say there is no issue on there side and when i ask where i connect to they lie about that 2... If they not sure why don't they tell...

I'm personally return IBURST product it stinks, I'm going to get ADSL instead.

I assume you bought from WBS. There is a small but growing re-seller network who are determined to make iB work, in spite of WBS. There is nothing wrong with the kit - its great technology.
Prospective purchasers should consider going through a re-seller. The after-sales support can only be better.

iBurst seems like a hit or miss, like MyWireless.. either u get a decent service or you get a completely horrible service.. luck of the draw it seems.

Make sure if you return you product you get it in writing. And that they will cancel your subscription. Mine was returned and they still think I am a subscriber

I suggest you cancel what ever contract you have going with iBurst, get off the network and leave more bandwith for me to hog, kthx

I've taken back my Stinky Product. They didn't want to so i told them im going to call my lawyer and report them to the news paper. I told them what do i sign a contract for. I told them there services is wort only R100.

hahaahah slimothy :P

as for the service it's getting better gotten 2 emails in the last 5 days :D

Connection = perfect dled 9 gigs over the weekend

120, I guess you're like that when you try something new huh? Give it a week and if it doesn't work for you you give up.

Mmmm... 120 obviously does not reference your IQ, maybe waistline? Shame, no wonder diets don't work dude, you can't lose alot of weight in just a week!

Nothcliff tower

hi
The problem on the Northcliff tower that Ibust say is fixed is still a problem. i connect to the tower and hav the following problems.

Connection at max speed for about 20 seconds, followed buy nothing at all for another 20 seconds.

If a page takes some time to download the tower seems to time the connection out.

If you are downloading a file on FTP the file download stops, if you then use a browser to open another page or refresh the page you are on the file download suddenly starts going again.

The end result is that the Ibust bunch don’t seem to know the arse from the elbow, and don’t have the courage to tell the users what is actually going on. They might also appreciate the help some of the user are able to give them if they did not have this we are the best attitude and we know what we are doing, when in fact they don’t have a clue.

It may also help if they updated the “network status” on the web page so that you don’t have to go through the switch board and get to the dumbest people on earth telling you they are working on it.

GRT

Grantmu, you are experiencing the 0 Upload Speed problem aka Stuttering, aka Unresponsiveness. Please use the link in my siggy for the Readme.1st there is a workaround in that thread.

yet, bashing something more often than not makes it work. As noone`s boss
