I have been with iBurst for almost two year now (month2Month) and during all that time never had any issues with my speeds, in fact I always got full speed.

For the past week I have been getting terrible speeds, i’m on a Basic 2+ with VAS 64, per night I could easily get 3Gigs, lately I’m struggling to even get 500MBs

I thought it was the signal and got a external antenna, no help.

I still have data on my anytime, so my question is, is the throttling on the VAS packages effective even if you have not used up all your data (Have about 2Gigs left)?, during the day it seems to be better but still not full speed.

The above is all I can think of else Iburst has gone from Best to Worst in my area.

Thanks land locked, will keep an eye out on that thread,

scary how many people are affected by this but still, no iBurst word on the issue.

The same here before the 17-Feb-2012 I could download 4Gigs in a night but now about 400MB.

Consider yourself lucky, I only get 100MB in 24hrs
Pop (GMAIL) happens at a blazingly fast 3KB/s but generally times out with any mail bigger than 100KB.

Downloaded the new Nvidia driver @ normal speed in a few minutes but can't check my mail...
ADSL pop to same server is lightning fast.

I've had terrible performance since mid-Feb as well. Prior to that I installed an external antenna and was very happy to see 800 Kbit/s+ quite consistently, but for the past few weeks struggle to get over 250 Kbit/s - it's so bad that frequently speed test sites don't even load and downloads plod along at a miserable 20 Kbytes/sec. Doesn't seem to matter if th site is local or international.

I've been checking in here periodically, but it's hard to tell if this is a trend in amongst all the general complaints. Location is pretty much near Cape Town CBD, what gives? Perhaps everybody has latched onto their large new caps and are flooding the towers, sad to see service degrade to this level after previously being very happy with what I had. Anybody else in the same boat?
