What monkey designed the survey that was recently sent out via mail?

A few things:

I suspect that due to it being called a Customer Survey one would assume that it was sent to existing Customers. Why is it then that after trying to ascertain whether you have a fixed line/fixed-wireless telephonic provider you would ask if you would be prepared to switch to iBurst for you data needs?

In addition, if I say NO to the question of whether I have a fixed-line/fixed wireless provider, why do I have to answer questions concerning these such as who the provider is, how long I have been with them etc. I stated that I did NOT have a service such as this so it stands to reason that I would not be able to answer these questions.

Given that these have to be provided before I can move on to the next set of questions, would you rather have that I lie about it just to move forward with the survey?

iBurst Customer Survey FTL.

Yup - And how's that question re. 'Population Group'...

Black
Coloured
Indian/Other Asian
White

Do we still classify persons according to race in South Africa?

And what I don't get is this...

"In case this isn’t incentive enough, all complete surveys will also be entered into a draw to win one of three R1500 Gift Cards for you to spend however you please (and let’s be honest who couldn’t use a little extra cash at the moment). The survey will run from the 17th June 2009 until the 30th June 2009. Prize winners will be notified telephonically or via e-mail by 20th July 2009. "

I don't recall that survey ever asking me for my e-mail address or telephone number.
How is the prize to be awarded?

This is South Africa, where nothing is about race, but everything is. Apparently to do with demographics.

Missed this one, but due to it being a 'Customer Survey' one would assume that they would tie it up with your apparently 'existing account'.

Will be interesting to see if iBurst bother to reply to these queries.

The first question is your name... so as you are a customer they know how to get hold of you if you win.

The last question is how would you to describe iburst?..... let rip :p

Unless they encoded it into the query string into the URL (link) which you click on in the e-mail you receive to complete the survey.
I will need to compare the links in two different e-mails sent to different customers to check if these differ.
A name/surname combination can never be guaranteed to be unique.

And yes - make use of all the opportunities which are not multiple choice(too many imo) to enter any additional comments you may have.

I did. Told them what I thought - that's what they want, isn't it?
