So, after many weeks of almost unbroken unusability, iBurst managed to string together 3 or so days of minimal (note: minimal, not none) disconnects or proxy problems. Then tonight, a host of DNS timeouts and cached DNS timeouts from their sodding proxy. iBurst, you are a ****ing embarrassment, run by clowns and managed by morons. Who still haven't had the courtesy to call me back after many requests for them to do so, incidentally.

You're so lucky that your competition is Telkom and the comical NeoTel, or you'd be out of business in a heartbeat.

I actually went to Vodacom to get an HSDPA connection, but had to turn tail when there was a huge iBurst banner right next to the front desk.

You're living on borrowed time, there can't be much longer until a competitor that is at least 1% competent shows up. That's be a 1000% improvement over you.

Bunch of no-hope useless knuckleheads.

I'm becoming exceeding fed up with iBurst myself. I've had persistent issues with browsing in the last few weeks, but the help desk insists it's my problem - despite the fact that a number of other users both here and on the NAG Online forums have exactly the same issue.

I have a regular column in SACM. I'm considering dedicating an entire page to just how rubbish iBurst has become. If calls to tech support aren't working, perhaps a nice bit of glossy slagging off with countrywide distribution will work.

I have canceled my iBurst accounts - after too many years of suffering their incompetencies, rather pay the greedy corporates like Vodacom - at least the service works more often than not, although shamelessly overpriced!
