iBurst Uncapped - question about midnight-to-morning data...

Quick question for the iBurst rep or maybe r00igev@@r will know...

Does anyone know if the (12am - 8am) midnight-to-morning data used counts towards to the 5GB/day FUP data allowance if you're on the Uncapped package? Thanks.

No.
I'm on playa 5 + uncapped 256k package for almost two years.Even after your day time 5G data allowance are used up you'd still have a maximum day time speed upto 256k/s (depend whether you're on 256k or 128k uncapped package).

Just to add...if you're on uncapped package,btw midnight to 8am your speed will be 1mb/s.

Thanks xln. Although I'm actually referring to the R599 Uncapped package, not the VAS addons.

Mark,just make sure that 'wireless uncapped R599'package does have VAS by phoning an iburst consultant.

Last year July I swiched to 'uncapped anytime' package for 16 hours then revert back to my old VAS package,because according to my experience there was no VAS at that time for me.(speed drops down to 256k after my 1G daily allowance is used up;and my midnight speed still is 256k,which is very strange)

ps:I'm currently on 128k VAS not 256k

I am currently on the uncapped and as far as I understand, your 5 gig fup is for a 24 hour period. I might be mistaken considering; at full 100KB/s speed, from 8am till 12am your dl is just slightly over 5gig (5.4gig). Just pm r00igev@@r, I would not really commend phoning I burst, unless you pm the Iburst rep , because they all give different information.

Yes it does. As far as I can tell, your daily fair use (5gig for uncapped) is for a 24 hour period. I have been throttled a couple of times now, and each time it was when i hit 5gig, 2-3 of which was during midnight to morning downloads.

Crap
was planing to go uncapped - so i dont have to worry about PC / android updates during the day and I set my downloads to go during the night if it didnt count to cap - guess in this case 10 gig plus Vas still my best option
