Iburst UTD LAN only connect at 10mbs

Hi Guys

I have that Iburst UTD, the old white one. I use the lan connection and it says "limited or no connectivity" on the taskbar. The speed is like 10mbs or something. Then i select repair, it fails...

Any advice?

The network connection with limited or no connectivity is a virtual one for iBurst.

Please just turn off notifications on this connection.

iBurst needs this to run.

Hi Cent,

the best way to avoid this issue is simply to assign a static IP to the ethernet interface.

Any IP would really do, but use this if in doubt:
IP:192.168.250.5
Netmask 255.255.255.0

Don't enter a default gateway or dns.

At this point Windows should stop bitching at least - but will likely change to "local only"

This should not affect your ability to dial out

Simply assign any IP, 192.168.0.10
Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0


no default gateway

Click okay.



Then simply restart the machine or (disable/enable the network card)
