Thanks, native. I do use ethernet when I can, but sometimes the UTD travels with me so I can update PCs, and most of my family's PCs dont have an ethernet port (I have a LARGE family). I need USB from time to time, though not on my own config.
The kyocera.co.za site does not have any SA contact info. When you select SA on their country list, their global site tries to link you to kyoceera.co.za (with an extra 'e') which of course bombs out as not found. Maybe I should wait for them to fix their website before I trust my fully-paid-for UTD to them...
I don't want to lug around a USB->ethernet adapter, in case you were suggesting that. I want the system repaired.
Update: Kyocera's agent (third Avenue Trading) say they don't support/repair the device - suggested I write to Kyocera Japan. This is loony. iBursters beware.
