I though I'd just share a little. I was having problems with my VPN not working so well. I set the broadbad router to MTU 1352 and then I set windows XP VPN tunnel MTU to 1290 and wahooo I even played battlefield 2142 via my VPN and didn't realise.

Here is the windows XP reg key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NdisWan\Parameters\Protocols\0]
"TunnelMTU"=dword:0000050a

Don't forget to reboot!

I can't get Telkom where I am but I have a great IBurst signal.
