iburst vs. 3G on a mac, and skype?

Hello,
I'm in cape town and shopping around to get either iburst or vodacom 3G on my ibook (10.4). Other than the price differentials, any opinions comparing the two? I work at home, and receive a lot of large attachments (over 1MB) for my job (mostly coming from the US, but also other places all over the world); also want to be able to use skype. Any experience from mac-users would be most appreciated.

i'm in cape town and planning to get either 3G or iburst on my ibook. will use to download large (over 1MB) email attachments, and for skype. any opinions about the differences, other than price? speed? user-friendliness (for mac users)? facility with skype? a vodacom salesman just told me that a lot of his clients were complaining that using skype ate up an enormous amount of data, and that theories are abounding that vodacom is trying to discourage use of skype.... anyone experiencing this? any solid opinions (especially from mac-users) would be most appreciated.... oh, also, how easy do you think it is to sell a partly used contract (not sure how long i'll really need this..)??

I would say go for iBurst. It will be a cheaper option and the speeds are farely well and I heard they are planning to upgrade to 2mbps iBurst is a very fast growing company and very well managed. You shouldn't have any problems there (although some might disagree with me)
