IBurst vs Sentech

when i play online for like an hour how much of my cap is it gonna take?

depends on what type of game. All RPG's like warcraft, wow, guild wars (i think..) dont take much cap at all. about 2-3mb a hour, or even less.

But FPS like cs source, BF2, quake etc. take up alot more, im not shure myself, but up to about 20mb a hour.. maby someone else has a better figure.

Basically the games you can play on wireless connections wont take up much bandwidth at all, and are still playable even once capped on Iburst.

Anyone that gets any kind of ping below 150ms to any international site is talking bullsh`t. Anyone getting below 100ms is talking utter crap.

Those kind of latencies to international servers simply don't exist.

I was talking about in warcraft dude. As in battle.net SA, local. Not international.. only Telkom employees get those kind of pings.

There are no battle.net servers in south africa, those that you mentioned (or tried to at least) are emulators for battle.net

I agree fully with TheRodent's deduction that you were referring to international pings because of the other post siting you playing wow etc, which again, is also international.

People notice the details, so try be more specific to avoid a flame war.

I haven't read this entire thread, but if you have no choice whatsoever to get ADSL (barring the waiting period, its worth waiting for) I'd choose ADSL.

The lesser of two evils? Perhaps iBurst, but if you like paying almost R200 for one gig of data... well... yea... future Darwin award winner ;)
