iburst website down?

The never ending fixing things.
Cant wait to go to ADSL.
Should have never cancelled my application for ADSL install based upon the word of a greedy CEO.

Website access to iBurst is a problem in Cape Town. Support is working on a resolution.

Hi Ronald

Does iBurst also experience problems with their mail servers - I can't send or receive e-mails since yesterday (using Outlook Express and I also tried Webmail). This is the error message I receive:

The host 'pop3.iburst.co.za' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'Mail Server', Server: 'pop3.iburst.co.za', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11004, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

I have connection to other websites.

Thanks.

Jeanette

....honestly for a tech company iburst has the worst technical infrastructure around it's supporting tools like iburst.co.za etc. I wander what would happen if you ran one of this off the shelf security analysis tools, ya know the ones written by a 12yr old, against all their public domains. I bet you a whole bunch of peoples personal information would get spat out....

^lol agreed. Mustafi, your post makes no sense at all. What you seem to be saying is that 12 year olds wright security analysis tools which are then sold in shops, off the shelf and that if someone had to use on of these programs they would gain access to ibursts customers information. Afaik you cant buy tools like that off of any shelf :/ And btw its not that easy to illegally gain access to ibursts website/domains... or so I've been told.
