Last year I was getting a good speed around the 800kps range using an omni aerial, I was quite content with this.
Round Octonber last year this dropped to the 400kps mark and in November to the 300kps mark.
After numerous phone calls, e-mails, etc we all know that story by now. A Iburst technician came out to check the signal.
His suggesting getting a flat panel aerial as by signal was jumping between 2 towers causing the problems. In December I installed the flat panel and in January got the location of the 2 towers in my area. Pointing the flat panel at either tower gave a worse signal than the omni. Finnaly to day yet another technician comes out to check the signal. His resolution is to erect the flat panel on a 3m pole to the side of my building to get a signal of 600kps.
Why must I now fork out yet another R1,150.00 on top of the R550.00(flat panel that doesn,t work) in the hopes to get a better signal. I feel Iburst are DBFing their customers.
I apologise for being long winded but I have given Iburst the benefit of the doubt for far to long.
To Iburst we are not all mushrooms, kept in the dark and fed on S.H.I.T
