I have limited acces to the net at this point and want to know if someone out there know where I can get a test iburst account - I can no longer wait for my adsl line and need internet access asap. I know that the signal or reception in the Bellville Boston area is suppose to be good but I want to make sure that I can use it before spending a small fortune on something that will not work for me.

I don't think you get test accounts...

Could be wrong though :)
 
If you call iBurst, they'll come over and test an account.
Then you can see how fast it will be.
 
Rather go for something like 3G. Even if you have to purchase a device atleast you can use it on other networks.

Now that would have been great but I am still waiting for the line to be installed on 26 May 2008 and only then I will be able to do a self installation.

Rather wait for your line than get involved with iburst.

Before you opt for iBurst, do yourself a huge favour and read through the iBurst forums carefully. It is littered with the bones of clients who complain about a myriad of problems with this sorry excuse for a company.

It really is not worth the aggravation to opt for their so-called services (as what they offer cannot be construed as such).

They are unethical, untrained, unreliable and a host of other un's (many of which would not be allowed to be published on this forum).

You have been advised. Sign up with them at your peril.
 
And don't forget to check out what their customers have to say at hellopeter, click on the link below to go directly to the iburst section.

Thanks, I received your mail address.

Sorry for the delay, your DSL installation is scheduled for the 26th of May, however I am waiting for feedback for the new “bumped up” date.

Will advise tomorrow.
