Finally ICASA showing some teeth,I expect MTN to be the biggest moaners since they can now use less of our money to open operations worldwide.Because thats patriotism for MTN,rip of your own people and give everyone else cheaper rates.
Cutting the rate in half by march is a huge step in the right direction.Well done ICASA.

Call me skeptical, but these announcements happen in cycles to coincide with elections. Like handing out sweets to children.

Your post doesn't make sense. How many people are going to change their voting because interconnect rates are being cut? I don't think anyone on MBB will, and its even less likely the man on the street will

Very good news. If it is going to be implemented like that, we will definitely see more price cuts from cell c after March 2014.
