Who will be paying ICASA's legal costs? It has to be millions squandered on this case dragging of many years.

Boere' station wins appeal

Bloemfontein - The Independent Communication Authority of SA (Icasa) must reconsider Radio Pretoria's application for a broadcasting licence, the Supreme Court of Appeal ruled on Friday.
The station is a community radio station catering for "boere-Afrikaners".
The station appealed against a Pretoria High Court judgment which dismissed its review application against Icasa. Icasa had refused Radio Pretoria a four-year community broadcasting and signal distribution licence.
The Supreme Court of Appeal in Bloemfontein upheld the station's appeal with costs, and referred the matter back to Icasa to reconsider.

spending countless hours, millions of rands and unknown amount of resources on trying unsuccessfully to stop a small insignificant little community radio station, while telkom, vodacom, multichoice, etc all the companies they should be trying to do something about are all but forgotten.
