Icasa under fire over high fees

more and more icasa is proving themselves to be idiots

If even Telkom is complaining, then there has to be something seriously wrong.
How can ICASA justify these sort of costs, when, even under the old costing model, they were receiving in excess of a billion rand/year just from MTN and Vodacom?
It's insane!
Yet more proof of ICASA's inefficiency and uselessness.

from what I know, they have hundreds of millions spare after all their operating costs, so wtf raise the license fees? seriously??!?! Its just going to be past onto the consumer, the people they are apparently trying to protect...erm...or are they just in it for the money?

I've always thought that ICASA should rather do something like say, charge R5 per customer per company per month. Then it would be in ICASA's interests to liberalise the sector more and more as they would then make more money as more and more people sign up with more and more companies.

First though they should really look into getting cheaper offices, I mean really.

OMFG ICASA should burn in hell, bet you this is a backlash from Poison Ivy! feking biach!

Maybe the idoit working at ICASA did a typo... instead of 0.3% he typed 3%...
