Icasa wants better data billing rules

Some of the networks have very high billing increments.

Does this ICASA hearing involve:

a) Data expiry after 30 days in contravention of the spirit of the CPA?
If I top up my car with petrol - it does not expire after 30 days, why should data expire?
Airtime does not expire (in 30 days)

b) Open ended contract that allows for huge data bills - violation of credit act.
Unsuspecting contract customers are not cut off and end up with bills of R20,000 or more due to OOB data R2/MB (R2,048/GB)

c) Open ended contract that allows for huge roaming bills - violation of credit act.
Unsuspecting contract customers can end up paying R351,000/GB for roaming data.
