kallis is starting to worry me now aswell

altough he is a rock solid player,his form latley has somewhat dwindled.

imho the team we have now is not world class to likes of rhodes,zulu,gazzzer,donald....crap we had a world class outfit but that class has gone *puff* into thin air.

i look at out team now and wonder where we will be in 5 years or even the next world cup,We not that monster team people used to fear anymore.

With Kallis you can only depend on one thing...and thats to drop the ball. He's too worried about sponsorships to care about a game.

I still feel they should make Boucher captain, that man has years of experience, and being the wicket keeper, he has an excellent vantage point, of the ball and the field
 
Ok, the final is being played right now. And WI batting first, they got off to a flyer but have somwhat came crashing back to earth.

current score of 125/8 25 overs....

our bowling has always been weak. We bowled on bowler favouring pitches against NZ, SL and Pak. Against a team on a flat pitch, we get murdered especially our batting was so weak.

Fair point but I know for a fact that our bowling is better than the windies :D

They have Bradshaw and Taylor, and that's about it.

Looks like WI has a chance. I think WI bowling is getting better. Might not be better than ours but much better than a while ago. I think they have a decent chance of winning the WC next year seeing that they playing at home.
 
I have lots of doubts about WI. They are a bunch of cowboys, i mean they play a raw style of cricket and because of this who nose what they will do from game to game.

Not so sure if WI will last the distance of a WC.
 
True their bowling and fielding has improved alot. Their fielding in particular used to be shocking. Clive Lloyd seems to be making a big difference in their team.
 
Good News: Rain has stopped. Super sopper and manual labour on in fullswing. Bad News: The outfield looks like a swimming pool. News: We need minimum 10 more overs for a result tonight. At the end of it, say, even if Australia are still X runs short of win, a result will be announced. They won't continue the game tomorrow. But if we can't get in 10 overs, then it will continue tomorrow.
 
Aus do have a very good team. WI flayed them in the first 5 overs but they handled the pressure well. Unlike our bowlers. Unsettle them and the game is ours. Be unsettled by our bowlers then it's over as well. WE tend to play this type of cricket lately.

Keen to Watch Ind vs SA in a few weeks time. anyone going to the Wanderers when they play the ODI series? 20/20 should be great as well.
