The Hague - International Criminal Court judges on Monday issued an arrest warrant for Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi for crimes against humanity, committed against opponents of his regime since mid-February, a judge said.

"The chamber hereby issue a warrant of arrest against Muammar Gaddafi,"Judge Sanji Mmasenono Monageng said during a hearing at the Hague-based court.

She also issued arrest warrants for Gaddafi’s son Seif al-Islam, 39, and the head of Libyan intelligence, Abdullah al-Senussi, 62, for murder and persecution since the uprising started.

Oops. Can't stay in Libya, can't leave. I am reminded how the AU appointed this cross dressing mad man as chairman.

At least he can't seek refuge in SA as this country has to abide by the ICC decision. Tax payers everywhere breathe a sigh of relief at not having to fund Gaddafi's Sandton Square shopping sprees in woman's boutiques.
 
That's if the rebels don't skip the the whole "arrest" thing and go straight to "firing squad" instead. After suffering under his oppressive regime for so long I'd be looking for a little payback too. That's of course if NATO doesn't finally luck out and blow his ass straight back to Allah.
 
This is truly sad. The US/EU(including australia) have got what they want now. Now Libya will once again be in their control. People are forgetting all this is for OIL. They are plenty of wikileaks/lulzsec documents that provide this evidence.

Gaddafi is in a war, so how about the people that were on his side they got killed? WHAT ABOUT THEM? PATHETIC.

People are forgetting Libya was the 4th richest country in all of Africa and it at one point as stable as most countries. This is truly a dark day for all of Africa, it is a shame people think this is a battle of human rights, this is simply a battle of Oil and resources, just like any other war.

For a second I thought "why would the International Cricket Council want to arrest Gaddafi..." :P Came to my senses though. Serves him right after ordering his soldiers to rape.
 
They cannot even nail him with most high tech equipment bwhahahaha, how on earth do they plan on arresting him?

If qaddafi was so bad why the sudden need to get him out, 4 decades of his rule now suddenly he is a bad man?

Makes no sense to me.
 
Gadaffi said in his inauguration speech as AU chairman, that multi party democracies are not compatible with Africa, he wants dictatorships modelled after his own regime, where opposition is outlawed lol

Gadaffi started not to listen to the orders of the US/EU...They wanted him to do x, y, z and he simply refused. You have to remember Libya has A LOT of oil, I MEAN A LOT(#10 IN the ENTIRE WORLD), plus, Gadaffi was started to make friends with people the US considers enemies, this was also a red flag...

Also, do people know that their is about 5 countries that have active nuclear weapons, why is it that the US is allowed to produce nuclear weapons(along with france, uk) but not the rest?

Think about that? Just take a moment to think about that. What makes someone better than another? The US told South Africa also to dump all their nuclear plans but yet the US gets to keep going and producing(along with their allies). Come on now...They tried to 'employ' the same rules to Russia and of course Russia(and china) said f-off.

So once again, I suggest people check out the LulzSec and WikiLeaks documents that show you why they are really in Libya...OIL.

Yes, yes. The UN and ICC are controlled by the Dollar and Euro imperialists set on stealing from the poor impoverished Allah worshipers.
