It's a new English strategy ... convince the opposition you are a useless team and them hit them hard when they are off guard.
 
I am terrible at Superbru. The two matches on Saturday that I got wrong were rain-affected, but why the hell did I pick England to beat India knowing the English are the worst players of spin in history?
 
Why would all the teams that finish top in their respective groups, go through to the same Super 8 group?

Think it would make sense for some teams to throw a game just to finish second in the group stages ...

No, the seeding and second stage groups were predetermined:

Super 8 Group 1: A1 B2 C1 D2
Super 8 Group 2: A2 B1 C2 D1

Based on initial seeding - not place in first round group, unless a minnow knocked someone out, then they replace that team in the seeding.

175/6, so the Pakis need 140. A couple of early wickets by the deshis should be enough to trigger a collapse.
