Hi,
I would like to know if any one would be available for you to allow me to host an internet streaming radio service through your servers. What i intend to accomplish is have a relay server on your side, so i can send the stream from my computer, relay them to your servers, and then stream to the listeners. This allows me to have more listeners, as i only have a slow ADSL line, and am unable to host it with this.

Does any know any hosts that would be willing to help me out, or own a server them selves?

(The server software is called icecast http://www.icecast.org/ )

It does not have to be local. I have looked at the option of dedicated servers, but this radio station will be non profit, and i do not have the capital to pay for dedicated servers. How ever, the budget im looking at will be around the same one would pay for normal web hosting servers.

You would require a VPS (Virtual Private Server) to offer this kind of service - the price would depend on if you need the provider to manage the server for you or if you would handle that yourself.

The pricing for VPSes are usually upwards of R500.00 per month, depending on the provider and level of management / service.

Good luck with this!
