ICS for the galaxy S2

The articles incorrect, cant remember where but this week both HTC and samsung announced ICS For the newer deceives will start coming out q2 next year.

If you understood my post you would not be asking a completely unrelated question. Both linked articles say no date has been confirmed which is not true, newer devices will start updating q2 next year. This means that they ill atar updating the youngest devices first. I ont know what sammys plans r but basically that would mean the s2 will be updated before the s if its getting the update, i dunno, dont have one so dont care.

Moto i think was q1 or mid q1 but that's cuz they don't have to put in some overly fancy UI, the nexus s is being updated by google directly, have not read anything about confirmed dates but probably soon after the prime comes out.
 
I'm expecting ICS 2012Q1, but yes there is no official date from Samsung.

ps. pls do a quick forum search before duplicating an old topic.

If you used Odin to install firmware that you obtained from XDA or other sources for that matter, chances are you already have an unofficial ROM.
