iCtel - Anyone know them?

Guys, my brother attended iCtel's presentation in Jozi this past weekend and he's convinced and wanna join them asap (R750). he's been trying to get us all to join but 'm a bit skeptical about them.

I checked their site www.ictel.co.za and they look kinda legit I must say.
However, I cant just let my brother "throw away" his hard earned R70 just like that???? Has anyone ever heard or even used them, are u a member, or know of a member? Please give us a low down....

Search the forums. There are a few threads about these guys. Sounded very much like a pyramid scheme those days. Also from the sound of how it works, its very similar to solutions like gizmo, fring, yeigo etc (which are all free, you only pay for the data you transmit).

How do I convince my brother otherwise? I mean, if it were up to him, he would get the entire family join this thing. You should have heard him raving about this thing to my parents!!! Drives me nuts!!!
