Id old Datsun?

Think it was from the 70's or early 80's and quite common in SA at the time. Pretty sure it was coupe, not sure if it was a hatch back (had a slanted rear, no boot portrusion as such) but the one thing that stood out were the round lights at the rear, think there were three on each side.

? Datsun is part of Nissan and the name phased out.

Also heard they're bringing back the brand as a retro kinda thing. Check what you are wearing right now and you might understand ...

I did not expect it to carry a Z moniker so never even looked at those.

I'd forgotten about those, we used 120 & 140Ys as company cars but they had single light clusters on each side.

My student car was my dad's old Datsun 120Y ... my mates used to call it the Green Mamba, because of its snot-green appearance.
 
I have a friend with a yellow Z. Still immaculate only gets out on sunny days because they are notorious rust buckets.
