idea for Kinect

I have a great idea for the kinect, what i want to know is, is there a way to tell them about the idea and if they like it get paid for it, or do i just hope that if they like the idea, they will pay me something out of good faith, no idea who to contact.

Not a chance they would pay you for it.
Patent your idea first then take it to them. Then if they use your idea leave it for a year or 2, let them make lots of money off it, then sue them for patent infringement or something like that.

or.. get back to reality and realize that those hackers who reverse engineered the kinect device drivers probably already thought of it. ; )

damn, i wont be able to afford a patent lawyer, that would cost thousands, up to 100k possibly more, nope they havent thought of this one, nothing on the net like or mentioned

then best thing for you to do is get those open source drivers and start implementing your idea. ideas are a dime a dozen in this world.. its working prototypes that get people's mouth's foaming.
