That looks pretty damn promising. Thank you so much. Thanks to all that have taken the time to respond to this thread. I think I will be booking my train ticket to go to head to London on thursday.

This sort of community reminds me what most South Africans are like, and makes me miss it :)

Although considering my situation, that is probably a bad thing!

Demand for skills is about 20 times higher in SA than in England right now. Not sure why people are still looking North for work. Its not really there and those that are hiring generally get locals.
 
Have you enquired with the local Council? My cousin's daughter works for Nottingham Council and says they consider applications from qualified people seriously
 
I always think how nice it would be to work and live in a European city ............................... and then I remember their winters :)
