Ideas for new year's eve

Hahahha why don't you ask what she wants to do.

Lol, she'll probably say she doesn't know. I want to take the lead here. I don't want to ask her what she wants, cos then all the decisions are on her. I need to make them, but I think I'll just pop that question and see the response. I myself don't know what I want to do.

mercurial, go out with me and my friend, we always find the single lonely girls on NY EVE ;)

I'll keep that in mind :) Thanks.

Girls judge you by the type of friends you have, so perhaps going with gdiza hunting won't work well in your favour ;)

Mercurial, it almost sounds more like a friendship than dating.

Which is a good way to start a relationship anyway ...

Have you asked her what surname she's use if she got married ?

If she's going to be moving back on the day she might be too tired. Keep that in mind. Take her out to a nice place with a nice atmosphere that doesn't drown out the conversation with music (hate those places, can hardly hear what people say)

Then drive up to signal hill and watch the fireworks. that moment would be nice to hold her hand.

dude, sex on the first date has a few affects which, if handled improperly, would probably not get her to see you again. but it does give you the power to take the relationship anywhere you want in that respect. thats if she's not just using you for sex either.

Play it chill, if you're both relaxed people, book a couch at a cocktail place, drink a few cocktails, go watch the fireworks (perhaps go to the waterfront instead?) and then shortly after stroll home hand in hand, open car door for her whatever.

I wouldn't think about the evening though, the best time I've ever had is when I planned to do something simple which changed course and ended in something else...

Don't pop any question. Do whatever you can think of. If she asks where you're going tell her "If you need to ask you're not ready to hear the answer"

You're right in thinking you should take the lead here. keep it simple

Okay, well as luck has it, something rather weird happened today. Turns out she won't be coming back this year or next possibly. Anyway, I guess I'm a free agent. I think I'll take your offer gdiza.

Why dont you take her to Pigalle, in Green point? Its VERY smart, food is great, and they have a live jazzy kind of band where you can dance on the dance floor.

I love going there!

I take it you didn't read all the posts? Thanks anyway.

Lack of personal skills and internet dating ftl - go find a real woman. The one's online have something to hide I reckon.

Okay, so I may be meeting up with someone that I've known for quite a while, but haven't physically met. She's in another city and has been there for a few years. She will arrive back in Cape Town on the last day of the year. Chances are we will start dating shortly after that, because bla bla bla, you know what goes here. I need ideas as to what we could/should do for new year's eve.
PS: I'm not crazy about her, nor am I in love with her (mercurial doesn't fall in love, he just grows fond). We do like each other and get along well etc...

And when you find it, it may be too late ...
