Looks like the pipe where the coolant temperature sensor attaches to

Take that same picture or better take a larger one showing a larger area for reference to the shop. If you are going to the dealer they have engine schematics where you can point to your part and they click on it it will tell them the name, for my local Williams Hunt at least but I think most dealers should have this system.

Looks like where the thermometer measures the temp of the cooling system.

Go to a dealer for the correct name and quote. Then go to the local Auto zone or Goldwagen to buy the actual part.

Look for a number on it (maybe under all that antifreeze)

Cant drive the car now as is p*sses the water out. Had to be towed from woodstock . Its on the right side of the motor. Has 3 pipes and a sensor attached to it. Some sort of housing

Is it attached to the head?

Coolant flange?

(yes I said flange)

Yes its attached to the head. And i cant see if the housing is cracked or or just maybe the gasket

Judging by your pic, housing. Seems to be leaking around the sensor plug.

Upon further inspection, that could be part of the thermostat housing if I am not mistaken? I am not sure if the sensor and thermostat housing are combined on those models

Being connected to a water pipe and electronics it must be either water level sensor or thermostat/temp gauge sensor.
