hey i just want to know what IDE's do you people use ?

i use the following:
#Java
Netbeans
#php
netbeans
dreamweaver

Eclipse when I'm a sucker for punishment.

Bluefish on my local box - PHP / BASH / C++ / PYTHON

and VI when I'm on the server, or EMACS if I feel like a change.

I use Visual Studio for pc applications, but that's pretty rare these days. I just write the odd console app now and then.
Then I use Eclipse with a bunch of extra things for my C stuff.
Pythonwin for Python.
I tend to pretty much have an IDE for each product I work with, so I have quite a few, but those are the main ones.

Ooh, some people that are using Eclipse!!!

Tell me does Eclipse have a SWT GUI Designer like Visual Studio have one for WinForms?

Regards,

Visual Studio for C#
Textpad for perl
eclipse for Java
embedded visual c++ has its own weird IDE.

Visual Studio 2008 for .Net-related apps (ASP.Net/HTML/CSS/JS)
SciTE for (X)HTML/PHP/JS/CSS (Win)
Quanta for (X)HTML/PHP/JS/CSS (Linux)

Eclispe and all the extentions is very good.

MyEclipse and RAD for JEE development is what I use. Also jBoss IDE is nice for JEE but it is also build on Eclipse.

I find NetBeans a pain in the a**.

If I have to do perl or php it's normally a text editor.

I use eclipse with PDT for php, or vim for quick edits

Visual studio for .net stuff.
