I have come to a conclusion.

After being back on the forum for a short while (I have holiday). I have seen a few members stand out that are just plain, either rude, obnoxious or just plain pathetic with their responses towards other members.

That isn't the core issue though.

I started work in a professional environment in October and I really don't have the time, it's just not there, to post during the day from work etc.

This is my question though. What's up with the Idle Hands?

I've been working since the age of leaving school. Mind you, I haven't worked myself to death or nearly as hard as I do now, but I did work at least.

What's up with that? Are people lazy? Do they actually post from work and tell people to f off in easy terms, or do they just have idle hands?

It's something I have been thinking about. If you at least work 3 hours a day, I'm sure you will come online and try to be a normal functioning human being with a basic set of manners, but the same could not be said for some members on my list.

Do you agree or not?

I'm not sure that I understand your point. You seem to be saying, how do people who work have to post this much on the forum? But that last bit I don't understand...

I'm basically saying. If you work, you come home and you relax and you see what has been going on, you are not in the mood to start arguments or be obnoxious or rude.

I am saying, I think a large part of the forum are jobless ;) :D :p ie. they have Idle hands... they do nothing, so they spout rubbish,

Or are at school.

Jip. And I study afterhours... but I do find that posting random stuff in TK throughout the day takes the edge off and makes work more fun. :D

It's against my own personal rules to post from work (except if it's work related). I've got too much pride in what I do each day. I actually enjoy my job :p

Ah.

I think that there is a lot of aggression on the forum (I've posted about it before), and you only notice it when you've been away for a while and then come back.

I don't think it's got anything to do with not being employed - I think some people are under a lot of stress at work; others, yes, just like stirring other people up. And some are just genuinely being themselves.

Could be, thanks Cath.

I'm not used to it to be honest. People I knew before who were fun to talk with are so agro in some of their comments, it's really not appealing ;)

Well, being a programmer, I spend A LOT of time on research... a lot of it on myBB... and I do admit.. I hate this place. ;)

Tera, people sometimes post nasty things to get rid of their day's tension and frustrations.

I'm really not like that to be honest. I don't have a great day each day at work, but I really want to relax and have a laugh when I get home. I think it's unfair of those folks to be honest.

They could just be like me. I love a good arguement. And making people all angry and frustrated. But only on occassion. I think. I don't know. Maybe they just love trolling.

I would argue that you too spout rubbish...so what's your excuse? (seeing as you have a job)

Give me an example of spouting rubbish. All my text based words make 100 percent sense and the time and skills involved at presenting it so elequently is nothing but priceless!

How dare you dare my how dare you? ;) :D :p
