IE 8 Beta ?

I got an email promoting MS IE 8 Beta, and would like to know if anyone else here has given it a try.

I have it; it is still under development; my litmus test for browsers is to check how it works in GMAIL on https; in this case IE8Beta2 is far from there. Chrome, Opera and FF all render googles gmail perfectly.

Works fine for me in GMail HTTPS.

I like it - stable, and faster than IE7.

unstable... can't handle XML/AJAX(alawys getting XML Parsing Error on my applications, no issues on IE7... crashes every 10 min.. that's my experience on vista.. don't know about XP

yup i seem to suffer from the same 10min crashes on my vista machine...

IE crashing on vista seems to be an exclusive feature

make sure you are running at ie8 and not spoofed as IE7, then check gmail in https and ajax

I like it, much better than IE7 features/design wise, wait for the final to complain about bugs.

It's actually a good MS upgrade for the first time in a while. Much faster than its predecessor.

Well when you have to use IE occasionally it's much better than IE7. I'm just surprised it's actually faster as well, but obviously I'm not considering it over any other browser.

IMO dont use IE it sucks
try opera
or firefox both has there advantages and dis advantages
but with IE the only good thing is that it runs SilverLight
other wise it really sucks

Its not bad, although I still use FF.
Far better than IE7 I have found though, more stable to me.
