Hi guys can someone plze assist. i'm experiencing the following error when i try to logon to the SARS Efiling website. "your session has expired due to inactivity on the site. please login again!"

use Firefox, not internet exploder

IE worked 100% for me. ;) Perhaps some more details about the circumstances around the error would make it more clear. Do you log in and then walk away to make a cup of coffee? It's like banking, it will log you off.

Make sure if there is a "REMEMBER ME" option you enable it when logging in (It will prevent your cookie from expiring (Provided you dont clear cookies))

Good luck!

Force a refresh by pressing Ctrl + F5, or Ctrl + R, when you're on the home page -> sarsefiling.co.za . Then try and log in.

If you're trying to access info by using a link you copied this morning or something, that will never work.

Use Internet Explorer, keep trying, will eventually login.

Had the same problem, 20 mins later I tried again and was able to login.

Possible Solution

Hi relatives of mine had same problem on laptop.
The laptop always got drained of battery and DATE was always wrong.

TRY these steps.

1.Change date and time of the device you are using. (Windows7)Also In the "internet time" tab let it update the time with the server already selected. Apply and close.

2. In internet explorer go to "tools", "internet options" and the the "advance" tab. Click on reset and select the check box Stating "delete personal settings".

3. Download and install CCleaner from : "http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard"

4. Run CCleaner, close all browsers and select "run cleaner".

5. Restart Device completely and try logging into sars efiling once again.

Hope this helps. It worked for me.

Is it only me or is really weird that there are two responses here from members with 1 post each, both recommending IE. Conspiracy theory! :D

Use Chrome or Firefox and make your life easier.

NOT recommending IE only stating how to fix it on IE, myself, I use chrome, faster- its bean proven.

Haha I personally don't use IE, but some use it because they only need the basics. (Most parents )
