Tiny cold island soon
I am trying to see if the IEC are publishing the number of ID Book scans so that we can use the difference between unique ID book scans and actual "votes" as a yardstick to determine voting accuracy.

However, the report available from http://www.elections.org.za/NPEPWStaticReports/reports/ReportParameters.aspx?catid=7 is tiny on my machine. Too tiny to read.

I am wondering if it's just my machine setup (Adobe).

Somebody, please retrieve a report and tell me if you can actually view the report contents.

Not sure which selection would bring up the request you are asking for on that page?
Call us on 0800 11 8000 for more information
Why not give them a ring.
I think you have a valid point that needs to be aired. I am curious too.:)

I simply use Foxit Reader. Cannot stand Adobe Reader taking over my machine. I used to have an earlier copy, version 6 or something of Adobe Reader which worked fine and didn't hog your machine. Seemed to have misplaced it with the tons of storage on different harddrives and CD's.

Right click on the report and a zoom function will become available.

I found another reports section where you can download the results into EXCEL format.

I downloaded the KZN province' reports and there is no mention of number of unique ID book scans.

So, I looked at their contact-us section and they only have the phone number you (BTTB) mentioned, no email address.

And, thanks to telkom and public holiday mania month, I still don't have my phone line yet, 6 weeks now.

I'm loathe to give voda my money, so, I'm going to see if I can get somebody from the local newspapers to take an interest in this issue.

EDIT: Thanks Albereth, when I right click on mine, it does nothing. I am using Adobe 5.5 though, because it does not update itself all the flipping time like the new version, though, it obviously is missing a few features.
