Allegedly used the ID of Officer Ntja Patrick Mashiloane

POLICE in Kagiso are looking for this man, pictured, who allegedly used a police officer's identity document to seek employment.

He removed the officer's face and laminated his own without changing other details.

Using the stolen ID, he found work at Cobalt Engineering in Chamdor on the West Rand.

He worked there for 10 years without anyone noticing.

"The suspect left Cobalt Engineering last year after police informed the company that they had hired someone using a fake ID," Kagiso police spokesman Warrant Officer Solomon Sibiya said.

Officer Ntja Patrick Mashiloane, 43, based in Phuthaditchaba, Free State, called the company after the South African Revenue Service questioned him about working for Cobalt Engineering as well as SAPS.

He told police that SARS officials had been bothering him about not declaring his other employment.

If you know the man's whereabouts, telephone Detective Constable Gadifele Motladile on 011-696-9054 ( office hours) or 079-020-9000 (after hours).

Not sure if this has been posted.

If this is the correct photo, how could anybody expect 'Ntja Patrick Mashiloane' to be his name ? .... I dunno :wtf:

It seems the company he worked for was stupid enough to buy it for ten years :wtf:

So for 10 years he worked ....all he wants to do is live ..... with all the bee stuff he made a plan
i certainly would not shop him

More than just his obvious pale complexion, they bought the BS that he's 43 years old. The guy looks like he's 16. Have the Darwin Awards expanded to hand out corporate accomplishments yet?

And why is it that this petty identity theft case is being circulated and approached so aggressively in comparison to say, I don't know, a rape or murder investigation?

Korn, what's the deal?

So what did he do? Steal an identity and work? That it? He helped a company do well?
What about the other baddies out ther... how come I haven't seen their faces!

I'd rather call the cops when I see Shiceka who stole taxpayers money to visit his girlfriend in Switzerland. This guy did nothing wrong, he earned an honest living in a sense that he was paying taxes.

or a little Arms Deal or some Tender Fraud or some little Building Rental....

Meanwhile, in Sharpeville, a ten year old boy has been missing since Monday. Instead of distributing his picture, police instead described the boy. The lead detective describes the boy as clean shaven, has big ears and a clever face. WTF!? It's an article I just read on dstv's news24 service.

What on earth is a clever face and on what planet would that entire description lead to anything of substance? Sometimes I really feel like giving up on this country...

I read on the news that they are going to start putting billboards up for wanted criminals,I even made a post here suggesting it long ago.
