Iffy Bluetooth

I've been trying to do this on various computers.

Problem is, WHENEVER I want to send a file from a PC to either of my phones via Bluetooth (after the devices are paired), the damn file never gets transferred to the phone.
The progress bar either runs to 70% done and hangs, or it hangs on 0%, forever.

Can I send over wifi in the same manner as Bluetooth instead of using ES File Explorer?

Not sure what you mean by "manner", but I use Airdroid to transfer files wirelessly to my phone.

Manner as in right click on a file and sending via Bluetooth. I want to send from PC to my phone.

No, you won't be able to do that. Not with Airdroid.

With airdroid I switch it on, on my phone. Open the browser on my pc, go to phone url (basically airdroid starts a little web server on your phone which you access from your pc and then can drag and drop files into it.)

ok sounds cool. Will download it now.
But this F###ing problem that I've had with Bluetooth over the years is annoying.
I never had this problem on Linux.
