Durban - IFP national chairperson Zanele Magwaza-Msibi and her backers have cut ties with the IFP.

The newly-registered National Freedom Party was unveiled at the Durban City Hall on Tuesday.

Good...more options for the voters to mull over :erm:

Hopefully this won't be another COPE, UDM, NADECO, APC, ID, and all the parties that contest one election and then fizzle out into oblivion.

I think this will make the IFP even more irrelevant tbh. NFP will just take a percentage of the IFP.

For sure they can't side with the ANC...The IFP already sides with the ANC in parliament.
Maybe they will side with DA/ID...they have a lot in common. They have chicks as leaders
