Ignite clearly state on their site that an upgrade only takes effect from the next month.

When you try upgrade, they charge you a pro rate amount for the rest of the month, for what???

If you are planning to upgrade, rather wait till the last day of the month so this value will be the smallest.

Same thing happened to me with afrihost. Eventually got a refund but was not easy. I've come to hate afrihost since signing with them. If I didn't have to buy a new router to change I would change immediately.

luckily I am with Iburst directly all the time. there is no such issue

I signed up to their LTE-A on 27/08 and was charged pro-rata even though they know that the setup, delivery of router, sim card etc can take anything between 2 an 7 days (their words) to complete.

Although my router arrived within 2 days and my pro-rata data was meant to be 10,64GB, I had only used 3,55GB when I was told to top-up!!

I am still waiting for the decency of a response from them in this regard!!
