I have an issue with IIS Shared Configuration.
I have 2 Servers running Windows Server 2012 R2 and IIS 8.5 in Shared Configuration
I have the IIS Shared configuration folder being shared on Dropbox and keeping it in Sync
When I add a new site to IIS, the site stays in a "Starting" state. I restart the IIS Server and it still stays in the "Starting" state. To get it out of the "Starting" state I need to remove the Server from Shared Configuration setup and then put it back into Shared Configuration.
The other Server picks up the change and starts the site successfully.
The error I get is
"The Object identifier does not represent a valid object(Exception from HRESULT: 0x800710D8)"
I have tried to Google the error but the error seems very generic and things I have tried have not fixed it
Any ideas ?
Thanks
