I'm dying here

Buy a few satchets of Citro-Soda. Drink 2 of those in the morning with lots of water. It will restore your bodys PH level since alcohol is acidic. Follow with a meal of bread and something pungent/spicy.

Edit: done this for years and it is a surefire way of removing even the worst hangover. Another secret is to drink 500-1000ml of cold water before bed the previous night.

Even if you puke after drinking the water it's still ok since the water will remove most of the alcohol from your stomach.
 
Fsck it hurts, called the vet but they're closed on Saturdays, gonna be a looooong day!

I don't get hangovers anymore. Haven't for years.

A good technique that has served me well: ... Never go to sleep whilst drunk. Stay awake till you are at least partially sober. Even if it means you will only get an hour or two's sleep in before work. It's still better than 5 or 6 hour's sleep and then waking with a shocking hangover.

In this time of staying awake. Drink water and eat lots of fruit.

EDIT: I've never followed my own advice before work ... because I've never been drunk before work. I'm very disciplined regarding my job. But I have had ample opportunity to refine my drinking habits at other times.

Like weekends.

But I have followed my own advice over weekends before and it works.

If I overindulge it's on Friday and Saturday evenings... only suckers for punishment even agree to go out on the other nights.

100%. I have even had to limit this to Friday nights now since my hangovers can carry more than 1 day.
 
Drink lots of water.
Eat bread....just plain bread.

Do that and you'll soon be fine. If you throw up the bread, it's still fine but it will help soak the alchohol.

For a moment there I thought you were going to say, eat it again :sick:

Bloody Mary and cooked brekkie followed by at least one beer an hour until bed time. You'll be fine.

Back in my student days my go to cure was 2 large BarOne's and 2 Energade's but as I got older that stopped working effectively. These days a hardy breakfast if possible, coffee with 3 sugars and go back to bed.
In all seriousness, before going to bed on the night I drink 2 Grandpa's and at least 1l of water which also helps a lot.
